*Four of those things are not like the others…*
This National Lipstick Day I decided to celebrate with my nails!
Lipstick is my favorite makeup item, it has been since I was a little girl begging my mom for a powdery light pink creme Wet n’ Wild lipstick at the five-and-dime store she worked at called Woolworth’s.
Since I wasn’t able to pull together a favorites post or special lipstick feature for today, instead I experimented with quick and simple nail art!
I went into a big bag of nail art accessories I haven’t gone through since we moved to Florida last year, and picked out some fun new polishes for this simple look! I also used my lipsticks as my background 🙂
I used the following products:
- OPI Happy Anniversary!
- China Glaze Living in the Elmo-ment (from the new You Do Hue Sesame Street collab collection)
- Konad Glam Rhinestone stickers
- Konad 3D Stickers
I used two coats of each nail polish. I love the China Glaze polish – the holo glitter leaves my nail surface gritty even with a top coat but I whipped out my Girly Bits Glitter Glaze Quick Dry Top Coat for a second day mani extension and more glossy and plump nail look.
I used Girly Bits Smooth Move Ridge-Filling Base Coat and initially topped my mani with Cuticula Ocarine of Lime Scented Top Coat (from a Polish Pickup in the past).
And in celebration of lipstick – here’s my collection:
How are you celebrating National Lipstick Day, beauty lovers?!
