Archer-inspired nail polish by Lemming Lacquer

Disclaimer: Set was a Christmas gift.

Mike and I decided we weren’t getting anything but stocking stuffers for each other for Christmas.

I had mentioned to him that one of my favorite brands, Girly Bits, came out with an “Archer”-inspired nail polish collection, and there were a few polishes I wanted. I thought he’d find it funny that there was a nail polish collection inspired by one of our favorite shows to watch together. And he must have, because he went on Google, found “Archer”-inspired nail polish, and got me some.

However, it was an accident, lol! What he did was find a different brand altogether with an “Archer”-inspired collection, Lemming Lacquer, and he put Part 1 of the collection in his shopping cart. He went through checkout to see how much shipping would cost, but instead, he accidentally bought the whole set!

Being the gentleman that he is … well, this eight-piece set showed up and it’s a pile of stunning!

While it wasn’t the brand I mentioned, I was completely excited at the prospect of trying a new-to-me indie brand, and a few days after they arrived I swatched them. I also ordered what I could afford at the time of the Girly Bits collection, too, because I didn’t want to miss out on their collection either!

Danger Zone!!!

What would a collection inspired by “Archer” be without a polish named Danger Zone!!!?! LANA. LANA….hahaha. I love it! This is a pretty orange holo, so beautiful in the sun. Two coats!

Bloody Mary, Full of Vodka

I couldn’t decide on which picture so what the heck, I included them both. Here’s Bloody Mary, Full of Vodka. A bright red holographic. Two coats. HOT HOT HOT!

Fort Kickass

Fort Kickass is a beautiful, springy green-yellow holographic polish! A touch lighter than this year’s Pantone Color of the Year, Greenery, but passable for the trend! Shown here in two coats, I can’t wait to wear this to perk up my mani.

Phrasing is a beautiful purple, like a dark lilac holographic. LOVE. This is another one perfect for spring! Shown here in two coats.

You’re Not My Supervisor!

You’re Not My Supervisor is a perfect root beer barrel brown holographic! I swear on first coat, it looked just like a root beer barrel to me and I can’t get that descriptor out of my head now. LOL! Two coats here, beautifully applied and worn.

Holy Shit Snacks!

Holy Shit Snacks! is one of my favorite catch-phrases from the show! And this beautiful, peachy-coral creme was easy to apply – shown in two coats here – and looks like a dream. Very buttery formula.

Just Like the Gypsy Woman Said

Just Like the Gypsy Woman Said is the star of the collection for me! It’s a beautiful plum/wine jelly base loaded red, bronze, gold, color-shifting metallic flakies and holographic microglitter, according to the Lemming Lacquer site (I had to cheat on this one to see what the flakies were, lol!) It is beautiful in two coats. It’s glowy, it has depth. It has my heart.

Babytown Frolics

Babytown Frolics is a clear base with, according to the brand’s description, a blend of light blue, turquoise, pink and purple glitters in a variety of sizes, finishes and shapes. This is the perfect glittery topper! Check it out (I didn’t cover the whole nail, I was aiming for more of an art look) over Phrasing:

And here it is used over Holy Shit Snacks!:

Overall, this is a great collection. I love the holos and the flakies, and I love the glitter paired with the creme.

The application on all of these was really great. I had heard of Lemming Lacquer before but I had never had the chance to try it. I am so glad I did. I will be a future customer! I love discovering new brands.

The collection retails for $80 here on the website, but you can buy them individually from $9 to $13 a piece depending on finish.

So what do you think?! And does anyone else love “Archer”?!
