Of the two spring collections that Barielle has released this year, Vibrants is my favorite!
It’s not that the Velvets collection isn’t pretty, but as the weather gets nicer, I am ALL ABOUT the colorful hues in this collection.
How about some pretty pictures?!
Designer’s Shoe is a beautiful purple with blue tones. This is one of my favorites from the collection, and the second one I wore. I had it on for two days, with only slight chipping the second day on one of my fingers! Shown here in two coats. Formula was a bit thick.
Fire Me Up:
Fire Me Up is a deep, fiery bright orange color. It screams summer to me, but I’ll take it now! Shown here in two coats.
Money Talks is a mint green. This was the first one I wore from the collection. Just love mint green, I’m so glad it’s popular, because it’s one of those shades where I must own ALL THE MINT. Shown here in two coats. Formula was a little thick on this one too.
Take Me Shopping:
Take Me Shopping is a bright red-pink. It’s a pretty, vibrant color but I feel like this shade is one I can find anywhere so it doesn’t wow me. Shown here in two coats, it’s my least favorite of the bunch, although there’s nothing wrong with formula; just my preference on shade!
First Class Ticket:
First Class Ticket is another of my favorites from this collection! It’s a pretty, light sky blue color. I love how it pops on my hands. Shown here in two coats, formula was on the thicker side.
My City Apartment:
My City Apartment is a light grey. Another one that I wasn’t crazy about. I have so many greys. It applied nicely and looks great, and as I pointed out earlier in the week in my KB Shimmer post, this kind of grey is seasonally appropriate to me with spring showers!
Overall, I loved the color selection in this collection. The blue, purple, mint and orange thrilled me!
Formula on all these varied between OK and thick, but didn’t affect overall look, just needed a little care in application.
The Vibrants are $8 a piece, and can be found on the Barielle site here.
What do you think of this collection? Do you prefer the softer shades for spring, or the more vibrant ones?! I’d love to know your pick from this collection!
