Blues

When I consistently wear polishes I need to review, it means I don’t get a chance to wear stuff from my stash. Not that I don’t want to wear those polishes, but I have lots of pretties in my untrieds and I love rediscovering those that I maybe only swatched, or possibly haven’t tried at all.

Last weekend I had a chance to swatch a few things, so I took Sunday off and wore something from my untrieds!

I browsed my collection, looking for something I forgot about. I came across a box containing all my untried Diamond Cosmetic polishes, and couldn’t make up my mind between Magens Bay Blue and Starshine – so I decided to wear them both! Check them out:

I used two coats of each, every other finger. What a stunning color combo! I loved the shimmer of Starshine balanced with the creme of Magens Bay Blue.

Diamond Cosmetics nail polishes have been a favorite of mine since I discovered the brand almost three years ago. I happened upon the company’s website through the recommendation of Teal Toes founder Carey, while I was conducting research on a post about polish companies donating profit to support ovarian cancer awareness. To this day the color, Don’t Teal My Heart, is a favorite teal of mine. Diamond polishes range from $2.50 to $2.75 and they’ve got some nice, new colors for spring.

What do you think of this style of mani? Do you love rooting through your stash for your next mani or pedi color, as much as I do?! Share your thoughts in the comments below!
