Disclosure: PR Sample; See below
To say that June was a crazy month is an understatement.
I go back to work on Monday after having been on maternity leave since the end of February – so I’ve been focused on cuddling and spending time with my baby who happens to be 4-months-old today!
I apologize things have been pretty quiet around here lately, but BeautyJudy will be here if and when; Josie will only be an infant for 12 months. She’s a pretty awesome infant, too. I’m going to miss the heck out of her!
Anyway! Finally getting to post my empties for the month! I used up a nice variety of skincare and other goodies. What did you use up in June? I’d love to hear in the comments!
Eucerin Baby Wash & Shampoo
This is what we use to bathe Josie. I was worried that Josie might have the sensitive skin issues that Lorelei had (she has eczema), so we trusted this brand to use for her since we use Eucerin skincare to help Lorelei’s eczema.
Would I repurchase? Yes!
Up & Up Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
This knock-off of Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover is a win for me. I buy all the drugstore and big-box store brand versions of it and haven’t met one I don’t like. Does the job. I use it at the end of the day, as well as for clean-up of my shadow fallout and to shape my eyeliner wings.
Would I repurchase? Yes!
Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Water & Mimosas Flower Body Wash
I received this PR sample as part of my introduction to the Love Beauty & Planet brand, and I loved it! I started using it everyday in June, and kicked it before the month’s end.
Would I repurchase? Yes! But I have one other bottle I received so I’ll finish that first. I also have Lush Dirty Springwash in my shower and I am obsessed with its scent.
Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar
Blah blah blah love it blah blah blah
Would I repurchase? Yes, if you’re a regular empties reader…we buy it in bulk
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelttes Night Calming
This is a regular in my empties now. It really does a fantastic job of taking off my makeup at the end of the night. I only need to use one, too.
Would I repurchase? Yes! I have two back-ups and one in use!
Little Egg Harbor Soap Company Save Your Face Youth Creme with CoQ10
I wrote about this face moisturizer here. It’s fantastic and it was only $20 for a container that lasted me from last August until June. I didn’t consistently use it as I wear-tested other things in the meantime, but I used it everyday for a couple months before I ran out!
Would I repurchase? Yes! Yes! Yes! I purchased IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce at The Makeup Show NYC, though, so I’m currently using that!
Little Remedies Saline Spray/Drops
Josie seems to have a stuffy nose quite often. Let’s be straight up: girl’s got some boogers, lol! The pediatrician recommended I use some saline in her nose, and suck them out. Very quickly, I went through my first container of saline spray/drops. I like the Little Remedies brand, and I like that this bottle could deliver as a spray or drops.
Would I repurchase? Yes! I went to repurchase recently and could not find them, I was in need so I picked up another brand. But I will absolutely go back to this one!
Face Secrets Professional Triple Size Cotton Balls
A couple years ago, Mike gave me two or three ginormous bags of cotton balls for Christmas. He got them, I believe, at Sally Beauty. I love them. They’re the perfect size for removing my nail polish and nail wraps.
Would I repurchase? Yes! I am on the last bag that I received as a gift and will definitely buy more.
Murad Age Reform Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30/PA+++ Trial Size
This came in this year’s Sephora Sun Safety Kit. I am loving this kit this year. There’s a great selection of sun protecting goodies inside. This Murad product is velvety smooth, like a silicone primer. I could use it alone, but it provided a nice base for my makeup.
Would I repurchase? I like this, but I’m undecided on whether I would buy it. I mean, I would. But will I, really? Probably not.
Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara Trial Size
I featured Troublemaker in a prior “current favs” post, so click the link to learn more! But I do like it.
Would I repurchase? Yes! But not right away. I have a bunch of trial size mascaras and a couple full-size tubes to go through.
Young Living Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
I use Young Living Lemon Vitality Essential Oil in lots of things. My Seasonal Support roller ball. My diffuser with Purification when someone accidentally leaves the trash bag containing last night’s dinner in the bag overnight. My daily water. My homemade body butter. So it’s no surprise that I’ve gone through one or two bottles since I got into using essential oils in my daily life!
Would I repurchase? Yes! Lemon is a staple among my oils. I have a new bottle in use, and a backup!
