Happy Valentine’s Day!
I thought it’d be appropriate to celebrate a favorite red nail polish of mine today as part of “Remember This?! A New Series of Old Nail Polish” – Cult Nails Evil Queen!
Cult Nails was probably my first indie nail polish love. I remember learning that a fellow blogger started the line, and I was happy to support it. Truthfully, I hadn’t read Maria’s blog faithfully, so I didn’t know her well. That all changed when I met her in person at a trade show. Maria – who looks like a runway model – is one of the most down-to-Earth and nicest women I’ve met. She became a real-life friend, someone I think the world of, even if I don’t talk to her much. We have a connection.
Sadly, Cult Nails closed shop a while ago, but I think anyone that got to experience Maria’s creative collections and nail colors would agree that the brands’ presence is missed! I’m just happy I was there to experience it.
Evil Queen is a stunning red. And although this polish is from 2012, the formula stands the test of time. I wore this for three days with only tip wear. Good nail polish has a good shelf life.
Here’s how I wore it recently!
I added an accent nail of a Jamberry Nail Wrap in
So Evil Queen is a gorgeous red, and I love both it and the Cult Nails brand – isn’t love all we need today?
I’d love to hear from you – do you own any Cult Nails lacquer?!
