I bought this.
Senna Cosmetics has launched these beauties – Divine Shine Baked Glossy Highlighter & Glow.
At The Makeup Show NYC, I picked up the one on the left – Rose Quartz!
Rose Quartz is a pretty pink powder. The right side is a darker shade, allowing for deeper highlighting or in my case, as a blush. I use the lighter pink side as my highlighter, adding it everywhere the sun would hit on my face.
This highlighter is really gorgeous and it gives me, with my pale skin, a nice natural glow.
Check out this swatch; left to right is the darker pink, light pink and all swirled together:
Here it is in a fresh face look:
With this highlighter, I also used:
- IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact foundation in Fair
- Veil Cosmetics Sunset Light Primer Serum Mixing Base
- Tarte Cosmetics Tartiest Lash Paint Mascara
- Senna Cosmetics Brow Fix X in Golden Shimmer
- Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Chrysanthemum.
This highlighter is expensive at $48. It’s gorgeous, though, and I’ve been using it constantly. I have no regrets (and took advantage of Show pricing)!
im not sure I would purchase this again, except at a discount, but it is a great splurge item, and Senna has fast become a favorite pro brand for me over the last year as I’ve experimented with more of their makeup!
Would you splurge for a highlighter?
