Finders Keepers & Chiffon: A Layered Look for Spring

There’s no doubt that right now, layering and playing with the color of lips and nails is a trend. You can purchase duochrome lip top coats. And you can purchase nail polish that shifts and changes, or top coats that will allow you to get creative with your stash at home.

I picked up two new Jamberry Nail Polishes from the spring/summer catalog in March when it launched, called Finders Keepers and Chiffon. I was so curious to layer the two of them, and couldn’t wait to get them on my fingers! (And yes, I will add within the text of this post that I am a consultant, and I make commission from the sale of Jamberry products. I usually shy away from sharing Jamberry on my blog as I consider the two separate, but I LOVED this and figured why not do a review and share pics just like any other polish I crushed on?!).

Finders Keepers is a gorgeous, deep forest green polish while Chiffon is a sheer peach with green, blue and golden shift to it. Chiffon would likely give you visible nail line if you wear it alone, after only a couple coats, and I’d probably only do that if I were going to put a Jamberry Nail Wrap over top of it.

Anyway. See how it turned out! I left my ring finger with just Finders Keepers on it!

While Chiffon changes Finders Keepers to be a bit more of a bright, shimmery green, you can catch glimpses of blue in the shift. I am in love with this!

I find Jamberry lacquers are easy to apply, and Finders Keepers was opaque in two coats. It’s pigmented, but not one-coat pigmented.I had very little cleanup, just a couple nails here and there at the cuticle. Chiffon provided this effect in one coat. Again, easy to apply. I would describe the brushes as a medium width.

These polishes retail for $15 each – you can purchase them through your own consultant, or you are welcome to shop my own site here for Finders Keepers and here for Chiffon. If you purchase four polishes, you get $6 off since it’s considered a custom “ColorSuite.” There’s also a set that launched in the spring/summer catalog that  includes Finders Keepers, Chiffon, a Smoothing Base Coat and another shifter – Abalone. It is $54 and can be found here.

I use a strong, gripping base coat and my HG top coat, Clearly on Top by KBShimmer, when I use Jamberry lacquers. On day three, I had a couple tiny chips at the tips of three nails but otherwise modest to no tip wear on the other nails.

What do you think of this nail combo?! I love how Chiffon brightens up Finders Keepers for spring, but I’m a fan of vampy green nails all year long!

Yes! It’s nice polish, although I’m not a fan of the base/top coats.

      Thanks!

I love the layering. Finders Keepers is so dark but Chiffon brings it to life. I love that kind of shimmer in a polish.

I agree! I can’t wait to try Chiffon over other colors, I think it’d lighten up some of my more winter shades for spring!
