March Empties!

I bought this

March empties post beautyjudy

March Empties! How is it April tomorrow?! I’ve used quite a lot of products so far this year. I’ll dive right into this month’s!

OGX Fade-Defying Orchid Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

OGX Orchid Oil Shampoo and Conditioner empties post beautyjudy

OK, so I know, it’s crazy – a shampoo and conditioner empty AT THE SAME TIME?! What kind of wizardry is this?!

Technically, the conditioner is not finished.

But I’m finished it.

While I thought this shampoo and conditioner cleaned my hair, and smelled nice, I had a terrible time getting the shampoo out of the container. It congealed to the point that I had to really squeeze, even when there was plenty inside of it. I couldn’t wait to be finished!

Would I buy another? Nope! I already have something new from Not Your Mother’s Naturals in my shower that has pumps and I’m digging it.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop

So Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop is one of my favorite highlighters. It’s so incredibly soft and smooth that this is the second one that I’ve busted.

So technically, I didn’t finish it, I dropped it and it decorated my floor in a very spectacular champagney-rosy golden glow.

Would I buy another? YES. I already have one but I’m petrified its going to break so I’m not going to take it with me anywhere! Third time’s a charm? I just can’t stay away from this highlighter so it’s a chance I’m willing to take!

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips

I just wrote about these a couple weeks ago, so read more here.

Would I buy another? Yes. I’m addicted to looking at the strips after they pull all that gunk from my face!

Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar

Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar

I’ve been using Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bars for years. There’s always one in my shower, and my husband and I both use it. I started using it pretty regularly when I was pregnant a couple years ago, when my skin became very sensitive to products and my nose became sensitive to smells. I use it as a body cleanser sometimes when I’m in a rush but when I favor my scented soaps or gels for body, I still almost always use it on my face (unless I’m test-driving something else!).

Would I buy another? Yes. We have a big package of this soap under our bathroom sink, and I’ve bought a number of those packages over the last three or so years!

Serenity + Scott Skin Perfecting Foundation in SP1

Serenity + Scott Skin Perfecting Foundation in SP1 empties beautyjudy

I purchased this foundation at IMATS NYC a couple years ago, and didn’t use it often at first. It was a touch darker than my skin tone, so it went on the back burner.

As I work to really utilize my stash, I came across this foundation in one of my makeup drawers recently and gave it another go. Immediately I wondered why I’d let it sit for so long, and I flew through it. This foundation is full-coverage and creamy, but it doesn’t break down on my skin easily, and it doesn’t feel heavy.

Would I buy another? So much for using my stash – I already did! It’s already in rotation since I finished this up about mid-month.

belief The True Cream – Aqua Bomb

This is a repeat finish of last month, I actually have small pots of it to try, as well! I love the feel of this moisturizer and I’d love it for summer.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

I finished up a foil packet of this last month, too! Like I said, I like this. I would definitely buy the full-size container of this when my current primers run out!

Maison Martin Margiela Paris Replica Lazy Sunday Morning, Beach Walk – eau de toilette

Both Lazy Sunday Morning and Beach Walk smell divine.

Lazy Sunday Morning, according to Sephora has notes of Aldehydes, Pear, Lily of the Valley, Iris, Rose Absolue, Orange Flower, White Musk, Indian Patchouli Oil, Ambrette Seeds Absolute. It smells amazing to me!

Beach Walk, also according to Sephora, has notes of Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Lemon, Ylang Ylang, Coconut Milk, Heliotrope, Musk, Cedarwood, Benzoin. It smells like a walk at the shore on a Saturday afternoon.

I went to check out Lazy Sunday Morning, because I really want to own a full size bottle of this, but it costs $126. Eau de toilette does not have staying power on me, and $126 is just too much to spend. I’m disappointed, I love this.

Erborian Korean Skin Therapy Bamboo Creme Frappee Skin-Reviving Gel

It’s unfortunate that I squeezed way too much of this out when I opened the foil, and most of it went into my sink. I only got to use it once but it smells lovely – fresh and light. I don’t see myself purchasing it, however, unless I try it again and fall in love.

So, phew! That’s a few things, huh?! What did you finish in March that you LOVE and will buy again? Since I have or will repurchase so much of my March empties, I am curious!

Wow I can believe you finished Champagne Pop!

    • BeautyJudy

Ha like I said I didn’t use it I busted it, but I’m not letting it leave my counter ever again! Lo

  • Anastasia

I have absolutely no idea how it can be April already, I swear, I was just done recovering from Christmas and Black Friday haha! Love the empties posts, girl!

    • BeautyJudy

      Ha, so true!!!

  • Stephanie Louise Telford

I think repurchasing a highlighter multiple times is a sign of love!

Job well done! I envy people that use up so much!

    • BeautyJudy

I wish I used my makeup this fast haha

  • marciaf

This is a great amount for one month. Dove Sensitive Soap is what we have in our showers too. I have a gigantic box under my sink that I bought at Costco. No one ever talks about Serenity + Scott which is a shame. I liked what I tried from them but it was years ago. Good luck with the new Becca.

    • BeautyJudy

We got ours at BJs, we go through at least one bar a month so definitely need it!

  • Allison @neversaydiebeauty

Well done, Judy! You used up a lot. I guess Orchid is a thing in haircare now, as I have an orchid duo from White Sands and I recently saw another brand with it. I haven’t tried anything from OGX yet, but I wanted to. However, I appreciated your warning about the packaging not being so easy to use: that’s one of my shampoo/conditioner complaints – hard to get out of the packaging. Too bad about the BECCA Skin Perfector but glad you got another one

    • BeautyJudy

Yes I liked the shampoo and conditioner but I won’t repurchase – too tough to use!

  • Nik

I live in fear of Champagne Pop exploding into a billion pieces. Mine just randomly pops little bits out every once in a while and it never leaves the safety of my vanity. I can’t believe you’re on your third one! I swear, if I ever drop mine, it’s over. It’ll shatter for sure.
I use the OGX Tea Tree Shampoo & Conditioner and I get what you mean, it does NOT want to come out of the bottle. I am SO over it, haha.
That Belif Aqua Bomb is so nice. I have tiny sample jars everywhere that I kept getting from Sephora. My husband stole most of them, but it’s a really nice moisturizer.

    • BeautyJudy

Hahaha! I’ll have to give a couple to my husband, I wonder if I could turn him into a product junkie?!

  • Erika

You are having the worst luck with Champagne Pop, ever. I hope that #3 survives to grace your cheeks until it is all used up. 😀

I like OGX hair styling and conditioner products but my hair can’t, with their shampoo. The sulfate free detergent they use freaks my hair out. lol

    • BeautyJudy

Ugh I know, I’m not removing this one my my vanity ever! Lol
