Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I have a “sweet” post for you today!
I tortured myself in the last two or three months by becoming a member of the Hella Holo Customs group on Facebook.
If you’re not a member, you’re going to want to become one HERE, so that you can purchase the pretty polishes I’m about to show you today from KBShimmer – because these are exclusive colors created from inspiration by members of HHC! Members even name the polishes. It’s a group effort, and a blast.
Based on inspo from HHC members, KBShimmer knocked it out of the park with highly-pigmented, densely complex polishes that will make your wallet cry! Check ’em out!
Shoe the Blues Away
Shoe the Blues Away is a cobalt blue shade that’s super holographic, with the holo pigment adding pops of lighter aqua against the deep blue color. It’s deeply pigmented and the formula applies like butter. The amount of holo in this polish is extraordinary, and I love how the shades of blue and green pull out strongly. Two coats are recommended, and shown in my swatch photos above! KBShimmer notes that due to the nature of the blue pigments used to make this polish, there may be a bit of a funky scent when you open this polish/apply it. When I opened my bottle, I opened the others to compare scent, and my bottle doesn’t seem to be very funky at all.
The inspiration for this polish came from a pair of glitzy blue shoes!
None of Your Bismuth
None of Your Bismuth is my favorite! It combines a strong holo with a mix of multichrome pigments that gives it the ability to shift from teal to purple to pink. It’s perfection. Another well pigmented polish that applies well. I used two coats in my photos above. It’s so complex and looks so different when you move your hands – be careful if you get this, you will get distracted by your hands, lol!
Tall Pink of Water
Tall Pink of Water is a deep fuchsia holo that’s pigmented perfection. The holo is packed in there! Christy from KBShimmer says, “When the sun sets, and the sky is just right, beautiful flashes of orange, fuchsia, magenta and dark purple fill the sky. This holo polish captures the bright fuchsia and magenta tones of the sun’s setting rays. This pink polish is packed with linear holo pigment for one of our strongest holos yet.” KBShimmer recommends two coats, which is how I swatched it above.
Deep Hue Sea
Deep Hue Sea is perhaps to me the most interesting polish of all four! It’s a charcoal holo with strong pink flash, but it almost looks purple in direct light. Is it charcoal? Is it purple?! Who cares? It’s GORGEOUS. From KBShimmer: “Inspired by the shadows and fuchsia shades of sunset, Deep Hue Sea is a charcoal holo with strong pink shimmer, appearing almost as deep bruised purple in certain lights. In low lighting, it appears black, with pink and violet shimmer popping out, while in bright light, it looks more dark purple and pink with a strong linear holo.” And finally – same notes on formula and application as the others. Great. I swatched it above in two coats.
These polishes will be available until February 28. These will retail for $10 a piece except None of Your Bismuth, which is $10.50.
Remember – you MUST be a member of the group to purchase any of these polishes, membership IS verified! So go forth and join! I promise you it will be fun!
International buyers can purchase the four HHC polishes directly on the website. At the end of the sales period, they will be shipping to the HHC managers, Dawn and Aubrey for shipping to their country. If they live in Canada, Sweden or the UK, buyers can join the HHC International Group Buy group and have their order shipped directly from their country.
What polishes do you like from these four?!
