When you have an obsession with makeup, it makes sense that you also have an interest in ways to carry, store and transport your products.
I use makeup bags everyday. whether it’s in my purse, my carry-on at the airport, my suitcase for a weekend away, to store certain brands individually, or to simply take makeup back and forth from my beauty office to my bathroom and bedroom everyday (my beauty office is on the lower level, and my bedroom and bathroom are on the second level – you can imagine a bag helps when trying to transport all of the small pieces of makeup to create your look each day!)
Anyway, when I saw this Sonia Kashuk Small Train Case Cosmetic Bag – Lipstick at the Target Spring Beauty Preview Event last week, I knew it’d be perfect for all of the mentioned uses.
With it’s bold, colorful lipstick print on the outside, the bag on the inside is roomy, with a compartment for all of your loose makeup when you open the top.
The flap has a pocket, elastic and a flap so you can effectively store your brushes and pencils.
It comes with a small zipper pouch, too, that could be used for smaller cosmetic items or even jewelry (I’d put my earrings, rings and bracelets in here:
The fabric is polyester and the bag is overall sturdy but soft. According to the Target website, the size is 3.25 inchesH x 6 inchesW x 9.5 inchesD.
What I liked about this bag wasn’t just the “just right” amount of room inside, it was the handle.
The black and white pattern mixing with the lipstick print works well together!
While this is a great makeup bag, I’d use it for a quick business trip, my everyday “beauty office to bedroom” travel, and perhaps a weekend away. It’s not large enough for me to use for anything longer than a night or two, because, let’s face it. I’m a product lover, so I’d have to bring a ton with me!
This small train case cosmetic bag in particular is available on the Target.com website here, or in stores by end of this month.
Do you own any Sonia Kashuk cosmetic bags? I always look forward to the seasonal prints the brand releases. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one in the comments!
