Disclaimer: I bought this.
Beauty products in the 2017 Pantone Color of the Year have already started popping up!
At Ulta, I spotted a display of six different .2 fl oz. Butter London + Pantone polishes, including one called Greenery. The other shades look like choices from the color palette Pantone suggests to coordinate with Greenery.
Although the polishes are half the size of regular Butter London polishes, they aren’t half the price. Full size, .4 fl oz bottles are $15 and these .2 minis are $10.
I decided to spring for Greenery, and I wore it with a couple of my Jamberry wraps.
I can’t wait for spring, although winter has only just started! That’s why I wore my Greenery nail polish with complementary soft colors!
Greenery went on easy in two coats. I’ve always been fond of Butter London’s polish formula.
While the bottom is mini, the brush itself seemed normal while the stem was of course shorter; but I felt like I had good control because of the shorter stem.
I didn’t expect it, but the square top comes off this bottle to reveal the screwed-in wand; I thought for sure since it was a mini bottle that the square bottle cap would be part of the wand! The side is also sealed with a clear sticker, the way regular Butter London polishes are.
Find Butter London + Pantone Greenery at Ulta stores or its website here, for $10. The negative space wrap of soft pink and blue, Scallop & Dot, was part of the monthly StyleBox subscription for January still available in February’s box though) and Seascape, the watercolor-looking wrap, is retired. (I’m a Jamberry consultant, so I’m linking to a page on my site where I receive commission if you were to make a purchase – just tossing out my disclosure!)
So what do you think of the Pantone Color of the Year as a nail shade? I like it as an accent but I’m not sure I could sport this as a whole mani!
