Alessandro nail polish summer sparkling lime neon pink swatches review on BeautyJudy

Are you sick of summer nail polish yet?

Even though fall polishes are starting to pop up (China Glaze’s fall was at my local Harmon Face Values last week!), I’m still into bright hues.

Alessandro International sent along a couple colors, and I thought they were good picks for summer. Check ’em out!

Neon Pink:

Neon Pink doesn’t look neon to me in the bottle, but it does pop on the nail. I’d call it more of a dark bubble gum shade. Shown here in two coats. It applied nicely.

Sparkling Lime:

I was a little confused that this wasn’t “Sparkling Lemon,” since it’s yellow and not green! But Sparkling Lime is a sheer yellow that has lots of pink shimmer in it. Shown in three coats here. It applied nicely, too.

Unless you like a super sheer look, pair it over another color. I put it over Neon Pink:

Sparkling Lime turned Neon Pink a bit more on the coral side, and I was happy that pretty pink shimmer was so visible!

Alessandro Nail Polish can be found here on the site, retailing for $9.50.

Have you tried Alessandro International polishes yet? What color are you craving for your nails now that summer is in its final couple months?

Yellow looks weird on me since my skin has a yellow skin tone but I can go for that coral!

    • BeautyJudy

Yes I like the yellow better making that pink coral than alone!

  • Lisa Marie Heath

I really like that yellow paired more so than alone!

That is one cute bottle. And Sparkling Lime is one of the prettiest yellows I’ve ever seen. The sheerness makes is beautiful (despite yellow being the nail colour I like the least).

      That shimmer is fab!!

I got Sparkling Lime, too, and it’s surprisingly wearable. I’m not one to wear yellows unless it’s for nail art, but I’ve been rocking this one on occasion 🙂

I love it as a topper – and I love the shimmer in it!!
