I’ve been a big fan of Ardency Inn since its initial launch and I’ve been “eyeing” – excuse the pun! – the Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliners for a while. I had high hopes that these would offer great pigmentation and wear; well, now that I’ve tried one out, in the color Hot Pink (hot pink with blue undertones and a hint of iridescence that definitely comes across on the lid), I’m happy to report I got what I wanted from a pencil liner.
Here’s the look I created with the liner:
I used Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and Illuminating Primer as my foundation, Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfecor Pressed Powders in Rose Gold, Urban Decay Tonic eye shadow all over the lid and into the crease, and one of the Make Up For Ever Star Powders on my brow to highlight … but I don’t remember the other products I used. Fail!
But what’s important here is the liner, and how it performed. Basically, this liner delivered for me on many levels that I value in a pencil liner:
- Great pigmentation
- Wore like a champ
- Glided on easy (reminds me of my beloved Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners)
- Safe with my sensitive eyes (I wear contacts)
- Didn’t rub into my crease (sometimes liners do because my eyes are hooded)
Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner comes in 14 shades on the Sephora website (linked in the opening paragraph) and retails for $19. Ardency Inn is now on my short list of brands from which I’ll buy pencil liners.
Have you tried Ardency Inn’s Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner yet? What do you think of Hot Pink liner?!
Disclaimer: I received the Ardency Inn liner as part of a sample bag from the PR Firm/Manufacturer at The Makeup Show NYC. Please visit my Disclosure tab for more information on how BeautyJudy.com keeps it real!
