LVX Summer Nail Polish Collection is up for pre-order!
All of these are creme polishes, a formula that I feel LVX does so well. The whole set of six gives me a beachy, tropical vibe. Check out swatches!
Avenal is a cool mint color; it isn’t minty with a hint of blue, it’s more like a spring green hue. I swatched it in two coats. Avenal is one of my favorites!
Currant is a beautiful, deep purple. This was the first LVX summer polish I wore, in two coats, last week. It’s stunning and one of my favorites!
Caicos is a soft blue green that reminds me of being poolside. Shown in two coats. I keep saying this but….another favorite!
Paraiso is a sky blue polish – my picture gives it a bit more whiteness than it actually has; it’s slightly more muted than my swatch. But stunning. Can I say again…favorite!
Damask is a great summer orange shade. I had trouble capturing it; the first photo is indoors, poor quality, but shows off the hue pretty well. I had to share a better pic, so the second is in the sun! I used two coats.
Shiraz is a berry/violet hue. I swatched this purple pretty in two coats.
Overall, this collection really nailed it for me in the tones of blue, purple and green. And Currant – oh my goodness, it’s a beautiful, lux purple creme. I didn’t have issues with application with these. I only wore Currant for a day, and only took it off because I chipped a nail and had to file all of them down – I decided to give up the mani and plan to wear it again soon. I’ve also been craving shades like Caicos, in particular, for summer.
This summer collection is available for pre-order this month (June) on the LVX website here. Polishes retail for $16 per bottle.
Do any of LVX’s summer offerings speak to you?! I’d love to know which one you are eyeing up!
