Of the last few releases from Color Club, the Poptastic Pastel Neon collection is by far my favorite!
These pastel neons really POP against my fair skin, and I think they would against anyone!
Check these pretties out!
Disco’s Not Dead:
Disco’s Not Dead is a neon yellow/neutral creme – that’s the best way I can think to describe her. I forgot to take just a picture of it solo, so this is how I actually wore it, with Philly Loves Lacquer Wooder Ice for accent. I used two coats. I don’t recall any issues in applying this.
Feathered Hair Out to There:
Feathered Hair Out to There is a pretty baby pink pastel neon creme. I wore this one with two coats.
Under the Blacklight:
Under the Blacklight is a spring green neon pastel creme. I love the pop on this one. Shown in two coats.
‘Til the Record Stops:
‘Til the Record Stops is a minty neon pastel creme. Shown in two coats.I must’ve had a piece of cotton stuck on my middle finger – my apologies! I didn’t notice until I was putting the post together!
Hot-Hot-Hot Pants is a peachy pink pastel neon creme. Shown in two coats.
Diggin’ the Dancing Queen:
Diggin’ the Dancing Queen is a lilac pastel neon creme. Again, two coats. This was so smooth!
Meet Me at the Rink:
Meet Me at the Rink is a powder blue pastel neon creme. In two coats, it looks streaky and balding; I’d definitely add a third coat to get it opaque!
With the exception of Meet Me at the Rink, all of these weren’t much trouble for me, and I adore them; we have a lot of bright and bold neon collections for summer, and I love the idea of creating a different bold hue by doing a pastel neon.
Color Club is having a Memorial Day sale – buy any polish and get any polish 50% off. These retail for $8.50 a piece on the site here.
Do you like a pastel neon pop? Or are you feeling a more traditional neon this warm weather season?!
