Color Club Ticket to Paradise Collection review and swatches on BeautyJudy

My favorite part about the Color Club Ticket to Paradise Collection – which came out as a resort collection for 2015 – is the polish names.

Tiny Umbrella? Frozen Daiquiri? YES PLEASE. I mean, mine might have to be a virgin drink at the moment but please, transport me to an island in the sun! I would NOT hate that!

I received a four-piece mini set of the collection, but there are actually seven polishes in this collection, including a yellow. pink and orange. I wore them over the last days of winter, knowing that despite my lack of travel to a warm and sunny locale, I could at least live vicariously through the names and colors accessorizing my nails. How about some swatches?!

Frozen Daiquiri:

Hands down my favorite of this foursome. Frozen Daiquiri reminds me of a strawberry daiquiri, all that’s missing is the whipped cream. I wore this in two coats.

The Islands:

The Islands is a bit on the sheer side in two coats, but I wore it that way, anyway. It’s a pretty mint green with a subtle light green shimmer. Pretty but not my favorite of the bunch. The name though – it makes me think of a tropical getaway and man I do hope I get to take one of those someday!

Tiny Umbrella:

Tiny Umbrella is a pretty peach with a peachy-pinky shimmer. I loved this one. I had two pictures of this one – one in flash and one in natural light, so I could pick up the shimmer to share, but also show how it looked without the direct light. Shown here in two coats. Also, I love being a fancy pants with an umbrella in my drink, thank you very much! lol

Sea-ing Blue:

Sea-ing Blue is a pretty light pool blue with a turquoise shimmer. I like this one! Shown in two coats. In my world I can’t go wrong with blue, it’s my favorite color!

Overall, I love Frozen Daiquiri the best, with Tiny Umbrella and Sea-ing Blue a close second. I felt The Islands was a bit on the sheer side in two coats, which is no big deal, really, but the color wasn’t hitting me the way the others were. I didn’t really have application issues or wear issues with any of them.

This collection is on the Color Club website for $8.50 a piece here.

What do you think of Ticket to Paradise, from what I’ve swatched? Have you picked any of this collection up yet?

Have you put Rayne (Zoya) next to Sea-ing Blue? Curious on how they compare. I may need this one, as I need to have all blues! It’s getting to be a problem! (NOT)

So I had to wait until the weekend when I could delve into this! I would say that Sea-ing Blue is more of a baby blue while Rayne is more of a teal-leaning blue. There’s a definite difference! I hope that helps!!

I’m going to Ulta today and I have to say as long as I collect all light blue shades I now know that I need this one too!!! Lol!
