Kevyn Aucoin Essential Eye Shadow Set Palette #6

Disclaimer: Sample. See bottom for more.

Kevyn Aucoin is a makeup artist legend, and among the facts I’ve learned about him while covering The Makeup Show these last few years, I’ve learned that the brand that carries his name is QUALITY. From lip glosses to eye shadows – everything I’ve tried from Kevyn Aucoin is awesome.

The palette I’m sharing with you today is a palette that I actually got at The Makeup Show NYC…almost two years ago! I don’t even know how it took me so long to share it – but I was deleting some failed starts in my blog draft folder, and I could NOT delete this one. It deserves to be shared!

Here are swatches of all the colors in the palette:

I like the balance in this palette – the minty green on the far right, the sage green shimmer on the far left – mixed with that plum shimmer second from left. So pretty – and perfect for spring, in my opinion!

Here’s the look I created with it:

So because this was practically two years ago, I’m blonder, thinner, hahaha. And I couldn’t tell you all the rest of the products used in this look, but I DO remember that I felt pretty the day I wore this face-of-the-day, and that the eye shadows applied easily with brushes over eye shadow primer. THAT was why I still wanted to feature this. Because when a palette is memorable for application and how it made me feel – it deserves to be shared!

Also, this is still available!!! You can find it here on Beauty.com for $55!

I think it’s still a relevant pick for spring, with the green and plum theme.

Have you tried any makeup from Kevyn Aucoin? What do you think of this palette?!

Disclaimer: I received the palette for review from the PR Firm/Manufacturer as part of the press bag at The Makeup Show NYC in 2013. Please visit my Disclosure tab for more information on how BeautyJudy.com keeps it real!
