Over summer, while attending Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas, I stopped by the Londontown booth to check out the pretties.

I’ve known about the brand for a while, having first heard about Kur, their treatment line. But I hadn’t experienced the brand yet, until now!

I received a sample of Londontown Lakur in Beau of the City, which is a vibrant blue jelly. Check it out:

Beau of the City has VNL after two coats, but of course, the glitter-lover in me immediately thought this would make a pretty undie for glitter or flakies, or to use in a glitter/jelly sammich! I wouldn’t wear this on its own unless my nails are short with very little nail line. VNL just isn’t my style!

Here’s what Londontown says about Beau of the City on its website:

“Developed to adhere to LONDONTOWN’s kur: Nail Hardener; this reaction creates a molecule bond that reinforces nail strength and works to prevent nails from breaking, cracking and splitting. Infused with our revamped family remedy and a unique blend of vitamins and minerals to enhance healing and nail health. Long lasting shine. “5-free,” does not contain the toxic chemicals. Vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free. Product is 12 ml – .4 fl. oz.”

It applied very easily, and I like the bottle shape and handle shape. The brush shape is a long and thin shape, and it was easy to use. I have not wear-tested this polish yet, so I can’t speak to its work strengthening nails. However, my nails are in desperate need of TLC, and I think giving this a wear test soon is in order!

Even without having wear-tested it, I would purchase from Londontown in the future; I’m especially curious about their Kur treatments. Although I probably would not buy a whole bunch of Lakur, with the $16 price tag – I’ll be choosy. You can find Londontown’s Lakur here on its website.

What do you think of Londontown? What about Beau of the City? Do you have a favorite product or color from the brand? I’d love to hear about it!
