Purchased by Me.

As soon as I saw the Milani Bedazzled Limited Edition collection on Nouveau Cheap’s blog, I knew I had to have the lipsticks, nail polishes and Constellation Liners.

You might recall my review of the liners, which were a let down; my review of one of the polishes, which was a win; and now, I’ve got a review of the Matte Lip Art lipsticks to share!

There are three lipsticks in this collection – Enchanted Amethyst, Enchanted Ruby and Enchanted Topaz. Here’s how much you get in the tube:

Nice!

And here’s swatches on the back of my hand:

Left to right: Enchanted Topaz, Enchanted Amethyst and Enchanted Ruby.

Let’s get to individual lip swatches!

And my apologies. I took all my lip swatch photos and face photos with my iPhone 5S. I always feel that the quality is good, until I crop them in my photo editing software. They sometimes look hazy or unclear. I’m going to have to stop relying on my phone pics and start whipping out my regular camera in the mornings again! Not all are bad, but I do apologize for the ones that are!

Enchanted Topaz:

Enchanted Topaz is a nice neutral. It was just the right amount of color for me.

Enchanted Ruby:

Enchanted Ruby is a nice red lipstick. I loved this one.

Enchanted Amethyst:

Enchanted Amethyst is a beautiful pink lavender. This type of pink is right in my wheelhouse!

These are very creamy matte lipsticks, although they do feel a bit dry, my experience was not the same as other matte lipsticks that actually dry your lips out.

You can probably tell from my pics that I did not exfoliate my lips – I’d recommend that before using matte lippies, in general!

The three Matte Lip Art lipsticks are $4.19 suggested retail price, and unfortunately only Enchanted Ruby can be found on the Milani site right now, here. I found them all at my local CVS, though, buy one get one free! So keep stalking CVS and Walgreens if you haven’t found them yet! I also picked up the other two nail polishes, but haven’t swatched them yet!

What do you think of these three lippies?! Have you found them? Do you love them? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hi Judy, Lovely photos 🙂 I was just wondering what foundation you are using? I too have Rosacea, and have been endlessly searching for the right foundation since Clinque discontinued the only one that worked for me. I keep visiting your blog in the hope that you will feature it, but haven’t seen it yet. Thank you! Amanda

I like them all but Enchanted Ruby (the middle one) is my favorite on you!
