This fall, Nubar has love on its mind, and “FALLing” in Love is the theme of its autumn offering!
This eight-piece collection has a variety of bold shades, and formulas. Let’s check them out!
Don’t Russet is described as a ruby red, and it’s got some pretty, subtle red/pink shimmer to it! Shown here in two coats, this one is a great pick for fall. It reminds me of picking apple and drinking apple cider and eating apple cider donuts. APPPPPPLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEE
Sweet Hue is described as a pink by the brand – it’s very much a salmon pink with golden shimmer. It was SO tough to capture on all my photo devices, camera and iPhone. I picked the best three, but the third pic is probably closest! Shown in two coats, just slight VNL.
Lush is described as a green, but it’s definitely more of a teal to me! Perfect for those Teal Toes! Shown here in two coats, this went on easily and was opaque.
Affair is a beautiful deep sea green with golden shimmer. This is one of my favorites from the collection. The first photo is two coats, the second and third are three coats. There’s still some VNL with the third coat but I like the three-coat action. I just love this hue, it’s so pretty.
Queen is a pretty purple that has micro pink and blue shimmer. Opaque in two coats here!
First Date is a taxi yellow with yellow shimmer – I LOVE THIS! I love this. It’s my second favorite to Affair. Shown here in two coats, it was a bit fussy during application, typical of yellow polish but not a bear.
Passion’s Plan is an interesting jelly. It’s a mauve-brown type of color. Like a muted burgundy. I had some balding with two coats; I would try a third for wear.
Love American Style:
Love American Style is a classic cherry red and it doesn’t disappoint. While red is such a typical polish color, I hoard it without even realizing it, lol! This is shown in two coats. It applied like a dream.
Overall, Affair, First Date, Love American Style, Lush and Don’t Russet are my picks!
The FALLing in Love collection will be sold on the Nubar site here; an eight-piece collection purchased whole is typically $56 on the site, and individual polishes are $8.40. Keep your eyes peeled – it launches soon!
