A couple weeks ago, I gave you a sneak peek at KBShimmer‘s early fall lineup! Check out swatches here!
Today, I have the rest of the collection (minus How You Dune?)!
Let’s just jump right into the pretties!
Stonewashed is a dusty navy denim hue! This creme applied great – opaque in two coats. It’s blue….so…LOVE!
Flannel Surfing is described like “a well-loved pair of pajama pants,” by the brand, and I love that! This faded blue polish is warmed with gray undertones ahd has pops of orange, aqua and teal glitters. Excuse my cuticle on that close-up! This was a two-coater for me. Who else loves a good pair of flannel jammie bottoms in winter?!
Rust No One:
Rust No One is a beautiful orange (pumpkin, dare I say?!) with ruddy undertones and linear holo. It’s stunning, and opaque in two coats.
Leaf of Faith:
Leaf of Faith is a beautiful red jelly with red, orange, gold and holographic glitters swimming in it. Leaf Of Faith is KBShimmer owner Christy’s “homage to the glorious Sweetgums and Sugar Maples, and all the others trees that star in natures fall show,” according to the website description! The changing leaves are by far my favorite part of fall. That second pic is a bit blurry, I had trouble capturing the true color of this polish and the best shaded photo was this one! Shown here in two coats.
A Raisin to Live:
A Raisin to Live is a blackened ox blood burgundy polish full of holographic sparkles! KBShimmer says if you love Witch Way, this is her vampy cousin. This is shown here in two coats.
Jack is a re-release, limited edition from last year! This is a classic Halloween polish; the base is a black jelly that has orange hex glitters, a scattering or orange micro slices and black hexes and shreds. I got opacity in two coats here, but KBShimmer recommends three coats for full coverage with tons of depth, or recommends you layer it over black to make the orange really pop!
I’m a fan of all of these. No application issues on any of them. I continue to be impressed with KBShimmer’s creative names, color palette and quality! The only one I did not review, I didn’t review by choice; I’m just not feeling neutrals and How You Dune? seems like a great glitter base but mmmeeeeeeh it’s just not calling me.
The cremes are $7.50 and the others are $8.75. The collection will launch on September 15 and be listed here on the KBShimmer site!
What do you think – what’s calling your name?!
