Precision Nail Lacquer Enchanted Fall Collection swatches and review on BeautyJudy

Helllllllllo and HAPPY FRIDAY, everyone!

As much as I love fall nail polish collections – including this new one from Precision Nail Lacquer called “Enchanted,” I can’t believe today is the first day of August and we’re only a month and a half away from autumn! Summer is my jam, but despite my disappointment at the coming season change, fall is my second favorite.

Anyway! I learned all about Precision while at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas last month! Did you know they’ve been around for 30 years? Not only is it made in the USA – Precision is a California girl – made in Orange County!

The brand provided me with samples of its fall collection, and I was excited to try them out. So let’s just jump right in?!

Mesmerized:

Mesmerized is a beautiful blue with lots of blue glitter. It’s such a sparkler in the sunshine. It applied pretty easily, this swatch is two coats! This is one of my favorites from the collection. The glitter doesn’t make this one too bumpy, I should also note!

Spellbound:

Spellbound is a nice purple, blue-leaning pearly-shimmer polish. It’s got a great glow as you can see from the second photo, but the purple in this was hard for me to capture in my Nikon AND my iPhone! That second photo is as close to it as I could get! Shown here in two coats.

Charmed:

Charmed is a sheer yellow jelly with lots of golden glitter. I swatched it in three coats here. It could be a nice golden topper for another polish, or if you like a sheerer effect, is pretty like this. I want to try this as a topper, I’m not crazy about it on its own.

Extraordinary:

Extraordinary is a pretty hybrid; it’s a silver metallic with lots of silver glitter. I love the effect of this polish, it’s slightly unique from what I have in my collection! Shown here in two coats, this is a going to be a great polish to revisit around the holidays, too, for holiday and winter nail art! I couldn’t help but add the close-up, although slightly blurry it gives you the details of the small glitter!

Vile:

Vile, unlike it’s name, is a pretty teal. Its shifts between green and blue, it’s dark and complex! Shown here in two coats, this one also applied easily and l found it difficult to capture the shifts and just how pretty this one can be – whether in the sun OR the shade!

Mischievous:

Mischievous is another complex polish – it’s got this glow to it that I really love. Purples in this hue really scream “fall!” to me. It’s got some hidden golden shimmer to it; it looks like it’s got a glass fleck effect in a shimmery creme formula. Two coats and I was good to go with this one. I can already picture pairing this with some of my brown/neutral clothes for fall!

Overall, I really like this collection. I like the dark polishes – because aren’t fairy tales dark and complex, at their heart? My favorites are probably Vile, Mesmerized and Mischievous, with Extraordinary a close runner-up! My least favorite is Charmed. It doesn’t do anything for my fairer skin, and I prefer something a bit more opaque.

I had no notable issues with application, and I like the bottle shape and small-to-medium brush size.

Based on this, I would DEFINITELY seek out and buy Precision Nail Lacquers in the future.

You can find Precision Nail Lacquer on the brand’s website here – for $5.95 a bottle. What a great price point, too! I don’t feel the need to go hunting down something cheaper on Amazon or beauty supply sites with a price tag like that.

The Enchanted collection is out yet, but keep your eyes peeled – it’ll be there soon!

What do you think of the Enchanted collection? What’s your favorite here?! Have you tried Precision before?! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the brand!
