I’ve got a different kind of “six-shooter” for you today!

The latest collection from Ruby Wing is called The Wicked West (six-shooter, get it?!), and it includes six shades (six-shooter, get it?! Hahahaha, I really tried, guys. I tried) that range in texture – glitter in a jelly base, shimmer and creme!

I reckon we oughta check ’em out!

Saloon Sweetheart:

Saloon Sweetheart is a really nice color change – goes from a work appropriate coraly-rose hue to a vampy purple. I love this one. Easily opaque in two coats. This polish applied like butter.

Back on the Saddle:

Back on the Saddle is such a pretty glitter. Peachy golden glitters in a similar tinted base that turns into a fiery orange, glowy glitter in the sun. I believe this is two coats and has VNL. One thing to note with color-change polishes is that when they’re lighter, it may be hard to miss if you get polish on your cuticles, like I did on my pinky. I don’t really care (I would have reswatched if I care), but just an FYI. The formula on this one is a little goopy.

Rodeo:

Rodeo is a spring green creme in the shade, and unfortunately a weird yellow-green in UV light. It reminds me of cigarette smoking stains or something. I much prefer the in-the-shade color! Otherwise, nice two-coater here, applied easily.

Tumbleweeds:

Tumbleweeds is a kind of pea-soup green that shifts to an army green in the sun. I like both colors, actually! Two coats here. Another one that applied like butter!

Wanted Dead or Alive:

Wanted Dead or Alive is a light, bright blue teal kind of shade in the shade that turns into a pretty darker blue in the UV light. This is one of my favorites, shown in two coats. Easily formula to apply.

Ride ‘Em Cowgirl:

Ride ‘Em Cowgirl starts out as a clear jelly base packed with gold glitter and holographic shards of glitter. In the sun, the base turns a rosey copper. This polish is a total win for me, I love it! You could use it as a top coat, but I got it opaque in just a couple coats. You don’t have to fish for glitters, and it wasn’t as goopy as the other glitter, Back in the Saddle.

Overall, this is a cute collection! My favorites are Ride ‘Em Cowgirl, Wanted Dead or Alive, Tumbleweeds and Back in the Saddle. Saloon Sweetheart is nice, too, perfect work appropriate color-changer!

This collection is available here on the Ruby Wing site for $10 each. They are listed on Llarowe’s site here for $8 a piece.

Do you like Ruby Wing and the color-change polish concept? Are there any here you plan to pick up or already have?! I’d love to hear your thoughts!
