There was so much to see and learn at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas earlier this week, that I almost didn’t know where to start!
But it’s a huge show for nails, so I figured, what a better place to start than by sharing upcoming nail polish collections from across the showroom floor! There’s a lot coming between now and the holidays, and I can’t wait to show you previews! This is just a snapshot, I’ve got new product launch news and tons of other cool things to share!
China Glaze, Gelaze and the new “Ever Glaze”
China Glaze is releasing a movie collaboration with “The Giver.” It’s going to be a 12-piece palette that emobides the movie and book, according to the brand.
“The Giver” collection will be available starting August 15.
Fall 2014 is a collection of 12 polishes called All Aboard. For this, China Glaze modeled the polishes closely after trends seen at Fashion Week.
Oh, hello Choo-Choo Choose You – you are definitely going to join my stash!
This collection will be available in September.
In October, China Glaze will release a 6-piece collection called Celebrate Courage, its annual Breast Cancer Awareness set. Three of the shades are new, and have a matte-satin finish:
Halloween comes in October as well, with this year’s six-piece collection called Apocalypse of Colour. Ghoulish Glow is also coming back!
Don’t Let the Dead Bite is supposed to look like blood splatte – mission accomplished!!!
Holiday 2014 is called Twinkle!
The brand told me they are inspired but nail bloggers to create at-home, DIY kits for nail art, and they’re going to release nail art-themed kits of their holiday polishes with tutorials and supplies for creating festive art. Here’s an example:
In addition, American International Industries (the parent company of China Glaze and many other brands!) is releasing 23 new shades in its one-year-old Gelaze line that all coordinate with existing shades in the China Glaze line.
American International Industries (parent of China Glaze) is also launching a new “in between” product, like CND did with Vinylux, called Ever Glaze! It does not need a lamp to cure, but is billed as long-wearing like a gel polish. The brand said you get about a week of wear with Ever Glaze, which launches in early 2015.
Ever Glaze doesn’t require base coat, although they recommend that if you treat your nails with a treatment typically, feel free. Use two coats and then the top coat, which hardens with natural sunlight. Removal requires no soaking, and there will be 36 BRAND NEW shades to choose from – independent from Gelaze/China Glaze. The MSRP will be $10 and retail at Sally’s.
JESSICA‘s six-piece fall collection is titled, Autumn in New York:
You can see the green peeking through the back there!
New Effects polishes will launch August 15, called The Kiss Nouveau:
For holiday, the brand is again launching adorable light-bulb bottle polishes in a “Holiday House” three-pack:
The brand will also release a duo pack of one lacquer, and one Geleration polish in the same, beautiful red. For some reason, my best pic is only of the red lacquer in the Slip into Sparkles set:
Since discovering Gelish and the at-home system last year, I closely follow gel bloggers and the press releases to see what’s coming from the brand. I’m excited about the upcoming fall collection! This six-piece set is called Get Color-Fall:
Bloggers are already starting to share swatches!
Holiday will be called Haute Holiday:
I just thought this blue looked beautiful and deep!
Winter is called The Big Chill.
I think I need almost all of these ones!
Precision Nail Lacquer
I was excited to chat with Precision, as they aren’t new to the nail world but I haven’t tried them yet! Their fall collection is inspired by the movie “Maleficient,” and includes a couple blues…for the win! It’s called Enchanted:
Precision has been around for 30 years, and it’s made in Orange County, California.
Orly is still celebrating a year of beauty, naming each collection something beauty-related. Like fall, Smoky Collection. It’s a play off the smoky eye.
I’m going to need pretty much all of these! Coming soon!
Morgan Taylor is releasing a six-piece collection next month called Enchantment collection. Of course, Morgan Taylor is a pro brand, but if you can get your hands on it, it’s amazing:
Cuccio is a pro brand of lacquer, as well, but they have a beautiful fall collection coming, and I wanted to share, especially for those who can buy them professionally, and for those who go to salons that use Cuccio!
The collection is called Cafe Cuccio and these are the two I loved most:
Man those two are beautiful polishes!
Nubar is “FALLing in Love” for fall this year!
This collection will be available next month!
Also coming for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (launching next month) is a four-piece set with Foundation base coat and Diamont top coat called Support the Cure:
I have a lot to share from Color Club! This collection is available now, but I haven’t seen it yet! It’s called Seven Deadly Sins:
Available next month/September is the Made in New York Collection. I took a bunch of pics of this one, because the sheer ones intrigue me. They must look amazing over some of the other more opaque shades in the collection!
Here’s a close-up of a couple of the ones I liked from the lighter hues!
Color Club is releasing another Limited Series Micro Batch of polish called Fiber Optics, in September/October:
Coming later this year will be the resort collection, Ticket to Paradise:
Phew. Thanks for sticking with me this far, this was a long one!
I tried to get the low-down from OPI and CND but was unable to schedule a meeting so I’m sorry I don’t have those brands to report on! Zoya did not talk about fall with bloggers at the show, but we’ll hear about it very soon! Some brands were OK with reporting collections in advance, and some were not. That’s why there’s a discrepancy of what I’m reporting from where.
So I’d love to know – is there anything in particular that grabs your attention? I’m excited for Orly fall, China Glaze Halloween, and the launch of Ever Glaze, as well as all the Gelish launches, to name a few!
