When the LVX Summer Collection arrived at my house, I took each one out of its box and lined them up. Mainstream brands are putting out bold, neon shades, but there’s something refreshing and chic in this summer collection, which favors the brightness of lighter, more pastel shades!

Let’s just jump right in!

Lolli:

Lolli is a pretty pink creme. It’s one of those pinks that jumps out at you in summer – the kind that looks amazing against sun-kissed skin! This is my favorite kind of pink, and one of my favorites from this collection. Shown here in two coats. Random fact: this is the first pink the brand has released in about two years!

Porcelaine:

Porcelaine is a classic ivory creme. It reminds me of piano keys. I’m actually excited to use this one as a base for a mani with tinted jelly polish. Shown here in two coats.

Aster:

Aster is a bright lilac creme. I have been loving this type of purple hue lately, and this one is one of my favorites from the collection. This one is shown in two coats.

Laguna:

Laguna is a bright baby blue creme. This is one of my favorites, too! Shown here in two coats. It reminds me of a pool liner!

Lemondrop:

Lemondrop is a wispy, bright yellow creme. This might be silly, but it reminds me of a banana Now & Later, although I admittedly haven’t eaten that candy in years! Shown here in two coats, you can see some balding on my ring finger. The formula was a bit more streaky than the others but not as tough to work with as a typical yellow.

Viola:

Viola is a beautiful blue violet. I am obsessed with the vibrancy of the blue polishes coming out right now! This is shown here in two coats.

Aside from the slightly streaky Lemondrop, the formula on these polishes was good; they were all two-coaters. They were all the quality I’ve come to rely on from a LVX nail polish. I love looking at the LVX website at the polishes, and seeing the fashion inspiration for each color.

My favorites from this collection are tough to choose because this is one of the collections this year that I really liked everything in it. But Viola, Lolli, Aster and Laguna are my standout winners!

You can check out the summer collection here on the LVX website, where they retail for $16 each.

Which one do you love? Will you be picking up any of these beauties?!
