Color Club has been a busy brand – they’ve got a summer neon and neon matte glitter collection that just came out, and they also launched a six-piece collection called Cookies & Cream – a mixture of creme polishes and black glitter.
I have two of them to share with you today.
So Crumby is a light baby blue with black glitter. It’s pretty, and the contrast is nice of the dark glitter in the light hue. Shown here in two coats.
Mad Batter is an off-white with black glitter. This truly does look like cookies and cream ice cream to me and it makes me salivate just thinking about it. Actually, it reminds me more of that cookies and cream milkshake Chick-fil-A makes! YUMMO. Shown here in two coats, and I’m now hungry.
My experience with these polishes was fine – application was easy and they were each opaque in two coats.
I feel very “meh” about these polishes, but there’s nothing wrong with them. It’s just that speckled polishes are not really my cup of tea. I actually haven’t bought any to date, and I know there have been other speckled collections; a few from Illamasqua, comes to mind, for example.
I do like Mad Batter, and I probably would have only bought that one, if I bought anything from this collection at all.
I actually think I saw this collection at my local Harmon Face Values, and you can purchase it online at Head2ToeBeauty.com here. They are $3.25 through this site.
So what do you think about speckled polishes? Are you excited about this collection?! I’d love to hear!
