Earlier this week, I shared swatches of the Zoya Tickled collection! I thought I’d break them up, bookend the week with the two collections, and share the Bubbly collection today – HAPPY FRIDAY, everyone!
Also, fitting that I’ve sharing THREE summer collections this week, since it’s Memorial Day weekend – and the unofficial start of summer! – here in the USA!
The Bubbly polishes are different from all the other Zoya shimmers I own – these have holographic glitter particles! The six Bubbly polishes are mostly still a bit sheer after two coats, but can be built for opacity, or layered over other polishes!
Alma is a golden, peach metallic with holo glitter. I love how this one is in between an orange and a gold. Shown here in two coats.
Jesy is a coral/orange metallic with holo glitter. Shown here in two coats, there’s some visible nail line and I’d use another coat for wear by itself. Of all the color combos, I love the play of the holo glitter off this orange shade the most. It’s so pretty.
Binx is an orchid metallic with holo glitter – definitely reminds me of an amped-up Pantone Color of the Year shade! Shown here in two coats, with a some visible nail line. I love the golden shimmer. It look like fairy dust in the polish.
Harper is a candy pink metallic with holo glitter. Shown here in two coats. I love this one. While some of the others I would layer for opacity or build up a third coat, this one I like with a little bit of visible nail line!
Stassi (or Staasi)
Stassi or Staasi is a jade green metallic with holo glitter. The label on the bottom of the bottle reads “Staasi,” while the website reads Stassi. Either way, shown here in two coats, and one of my favorites from this collection! It kind of makes me think of what grass would look like if it was glittered!
Muse is a beautiful, mermaid blue-green metallic with holo glitter. Shown here in two coast, this one was probably the most opaque one in two coats! This is my favorite. It’s so vibrant and beautiful! No surprise at this being my favorite, since it’s blue!
Overall, the formula was a bit thicker than a normal Zoya formula. The base is like a jelly. I really love these. I love the holo glitter, and I love the golden shimmer. Zoya is always finding ways of keeping nail polish on trend and fresh, and I really dig the Bubbly collection. My absolute favorites are Muse, Staasi (Stassi) and Harper!
Zoya Bubbly collection can be found here on Zoya.com, and it retails for $54 for the set, or $9 each.
Do you love Bubbly?! Which ones do you like best?!
