One of the brands I discovered at Cosmoprof Las Vegas last year was Sorme. I’ve had products that I meant to review, that I’ve used in looks and posted on Instagram and Twitter, but have never properly reviewed.
So I’m finally going to talk about one of these products on le blog – Tasty Tubes!
Tasty Tubes are described as “lip gels,” vs. lip glosses, are meant to be sheer, and very shiny! They are moisturizing, and consist of six shades in the range. They have either a pearl, sparkly or satin finish. They are lightly scented in different “dessert” flavors, according to the Sorme website.
I received the Mesmerize shade of Tasty Tubes, which is a pretty, pearly and glowy light pink that definitely left a sheer tint of color on my lips. Although the color looks separated in the tube, it’s not worrisome.
Tasty Tubes feel tacky, but glide on. The tackiness is not overbearing, and it helps the gel adhere to the lip for up about two to three hours.
Here’s how it looked on!
It was a nice pearly pop of color for my lips with a stronger eye look.
I’m obsessed with bold lippies, but sometimes it’s nice to put on a girly gloss and go.
I’m not sure if I would purchase a Tasty Tube in the future, but I like the bright pink of the shade Magnetic. Mesmerize has a light vanilla or cake scent to it that I really like. I wonder what the rest of them smell like!
Have you ever tried a Tasty Tube, or have you never heard of Sorme? I’d love to know what you think!
