In my IMATS NYC roundup post, I mentioned that I spotted a new-to-me brand called Glamorous Chicks Cosmetics, and today I’ve got one of their products to share with you! The brand’s multi-functional Mineral Eye Shadows:

I’ve got four to share! These can be used seven different ways, according to the brand owners, including as eye shadow, which is how I chose to test drive them! Other ways they can be used:

  • Lip gloss
  • Mascara
  • Nail Polish
  • Eyeliner
  • Blush
  • Bronzer

For ingredients, check out that second product shot above!

Swatches, from left to right, for the eye shadows I tried: Water Lily, Dark Yellow, Modern Mauve and Dark Rose:

These were swatched without primer. They are very well pigmented and beautiful.

I wore Dark Yellow, Dark Rose and Modern Mauve in a recent look. Check it out:

The pigmentation translates easily to the eye and these are easy to blend. Over eye shadow primer, they lasted all day, no touch-ups needed.

You can find the mineral eye shadows on the Glamorous Chicks Cosmetics website for $14.95 a piece (for 2.35 g of product).

Glamorous Chicks sells a full range of makeup on its website, as well as fashion accessories.

I do like to be honest in my reviews, and I don’t think I’d buy one of these eye shadows at full retail price, because there are so many great mineral eye makeup companies I support or have supported that sell them for less – like Meow Cosmetics and Aromaleigh.

So what do you think about mineral eye shadows? What are some of the ways you’ve worn them? What do you think of these?

Disclaimer: I received Dark Yellow as a gift with my purchase from the PR Firm/Manufacturer . Please visit my Disclosure tab for more information on how BeautyJudy.com keeps it real!
