KB Shimmer cream creme nail polish swatches and review A Touch of Glass My Life's Porpoise Sky Jinks Pansey-monium

I’ve had these KB Shimmer spring cremes to review – and in fact, have worn all but one of them! – for weeks. I am so glad I was finally able to properly swatch and share them with you, because I was as happy with these as I was with the sampling of glitters I reviewed last month!

There are eight cremes total in the 16-piece spring collection, and I’ve got four to share today! I’ll jump right into the pretties!

Sky Jinks:

Sky Jinks is a beautiful sky-blue creme, and my favorite! Christy, KB Shimmer owner and founder, describes Sky Jinks as that medium blue reminds her of those days when the sky is an amazing blue and there’s not a cloud in sight. I love that imagery. Fits in perfectly with the spring weather we had this weekend in South Jersey! I wore this with two coats.

Pansy-Monium:

Pansy-Monium is a pansy purple creme with a slight red undertone. Shown here in two coats. This purple is absolutely stunning, and my favorite purple released this season!

My Life’s Porpoise:

My Life’s Porpoise is a gray/grey creme shade that you can wear alone, or with some of the other glitters in the spring collection, like Make My Gray! What I like about this is how appropriate it is for spring – “April showers…” means some cloudy days in the beginning of spring, and this totally speaks to that for me! Shown here in two coats. When I wore this, I wore it on my left hand, and Pansy-Monium on my right hand!

A Touch of Glass:

A Touch of Glass is a light, aqua mint creme that Christy said reminds her of tumbled sea glass. I love the blue undertones, and this year I’m all about anything mint or blue! Shown here in two coats. This is the only one I haven’t worn yet. I think I want to pair it with Daisy About You!

All of these polishes applied well. I had no problem with the formula or the application. When paired with Cult Nails Wicked Fast or Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coats, the polishes wore well on me for the two to three days I wore them.

These are available through the KB Shimmer website (link to the whole collection in the first sentence of the review!) and they retail for $7.50. I think that’s a great price, and you’re getting good quality nail polish.

So by now you may have seen the entire collection on different blogs and on social media, and you may have even ordered some or all of them! I’d love to know what your favorite KB Shimmer spring polish is! Do you still want to order or have you ordered? When the collection launched, I ordered a few more spring colors – Belle of the Mall, Daisy About You, Prism Break and Chick Me Out. I also threw in You Autumn Know from fall, because I’ve been wanting it for a while!

Anyway, I’d love to hear your favorites, and happy spring!!!
