I adore pencil and liquid eyeliners, but I rarely use gel or cream liners, because I’m lazy, and I don’t like having a pot of liner and a separate brush. with a pen or liquid, it’s all in one slim container.

It’s stupid. Because when I do use creme or gel liners, I love them. And lately, I’ve been trying a few different brands.

One of the brands that I’m impressed with is Wet n’ Wild, which released its On Edge Creme Eyeliner in February when it launched the Fergie Center Stage Collection.

The liner comes in two colors – brown and black. Here’s a close-up:

One of the things that impressed me about the liner was the sanitary, and moisture-keeping foil seal.

The liners swatched:

You can see that they dry relatively quickly; the brown one (Cocoa Riche) dried pretty quickly before I swiped the black one (Little Black Dress) and then took the photo!

So here’s one of the looks I did using the black eyeliner:

I used the brush that came with the eyeliner, but I prefer to use an angled liner brush. It’s more precise for me. The brush that comes with the eyeliners is good for thicker lines, and smudging.

The formula of the eyeliners is nice, and they’re waterproof. Like I said, they dry pretty quickly, which is probably why they held up well, and didn’t color the crease of my eyelids, which is good considering that I have hooded eyes.

If you have one near you, you will likely see these liners prominently displayed once again in Walgreens, as Wet n’ Wild has released a Fergie collection for summer. (More on that later!) They are also in the permanent Wet n’ Wild display at drugstores I’ve been to recently!

These liners retail for $4.99 at mass market retails nationwide.

What do you think of creme/gel eyeliners? Have you tried On Edge? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
