Last month Wet n’ Wild launched CoverAll Cream Foundation, a new foundation that can be blended for medium-to-full coverage.
Here are some of the highlights of the foundation:
- Lightweight, satin-matte finish
- All-day wear
- Contains VisiBright Technology, which Wet n’ Wild describes as “a skin-perfecting complex that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots while hydrating the skin’s natural collagen for a rejuvenating lift.”
Here’s the ingredients for the one I used first (guessing it would most match my skin tone!), Fair:
I was impressed that when I opened the tube, it had a foil safety seal:
Here’s what they all look like on my arm!
Left to right: Fair, Fair/Light, Light, Light/Medium, Medium, Medium/Tan, Tan.
And here’s my completed look of the day the first day I wore this foundation, and paired it with Wet n’ Wild CoverAll Pressed Powder, too:
My skin looked fantastic. This foundation performed comparable to some of the department store brands I favor.
I did have some wear on my nose and chin by the end of the work day, but I nothing a little powder touch-up can’t take care of. I am thrilled with how well this foundation performs for the cost. Oh yes. The best part? It’s $3.99 for 1 fl. oz. of foundation, and it’s available at mass market retailers across the U.S.
As far as the VisiBright complex, the foundation does cover my red skin, my imperfections from rosacea (red bumps on my nose) and smooths out my skin, so I am happy with it.
Have you seen this foundation at your local retailer yet? Have you tried it? I am impressed and I will be a repeat customer – Fair works best but I can get away with Fair/Light, too!
