Milani Cosmetics Color Statement Lipsticks: Plums and Berries

plums and berries

Color doesn’t stop at reds, oranges, pinks and corals with Milani‘s new Color Statement lipstick and liner line! Next up are the plums and berries!

Here’s an arm swatch of the lipsticks:

Left to right: Plumrose, Raspberry Rush, Uptown Mauve, Sangria, Chilled Brandy, Black Cherry and Violet Volt.

And the liners:

Left to right: Fuchsia and Brandy.

The liners are so pliable and soft because they’re a creamy formula. Here’s lip swatches:

Brandy:

Fuchsia:

Liners are not only great as a base for color or to help define your lip line, but they’re also great for a matte lip look!

How about some swatches of the lipsticks?! I’ve done two for each color – first is with flash, second is in natural outdoor lighting.

Plumrose:

Plumrose is a beautiful cream that’s, well, plum rose! This is a great workplace shade, too.

Raspberry Rush:

Raspberry Rush is a metallic bright fuchsia pink. This one is one of my favorites!

Uptown Mauve:

Uptown Mauve is a creamy bright mauve.

Sangria:

Sangria, a matte shade, really brightens up on my lips, it looks like a true wine on my hand but the pink is drawn out of it in my lips!

Chilled Brandy:

Chilled Brandy is a beautiful shimmer, a rustic berry shade. I love this one on me. It’s one of my favorites!

Black Cherry:

Black Cherry is vampy! It’s like crushed berries in a drink; I love the creaminess and boldness of this lip against my blonde hair and fair skin.

Violet Volt:

Violet Volt is a metallic purple with a purple-pink sheen. I love blue-undertoned colors on me. This is one of my other favorites from the plums and berries!

Again, these lipsticks impressed me with their wear and vibrancy. The scent is a pleasant sweet aroma.

The Color Statement lipsticks retail for $5.49. They’re already popping up in stores, in permanent displays, and they’re available online through Milani’s website (linked to above). Have you seen them yet? Picked any up?
