LVX has launched its Spring 2013 collection, with a beautiful tribute to the Pantone Color of the Year, emerald!
The six-piece collection includes:
- Viridian: Striking emerald green
- Indigo Bleu: Ultimate navy blue
- Citrine: Golden citrus
- Fantom: Timeless white
- Cerulean: Audacious blue
- Azalea: Soft and daring lilac
I received two of the new lacquers to review. I posted some nail art I did with them on Instagram, and I have a couple pics below too. Meet Viridian and Cerulean:
How about a couple swatches?!
I had trouble capturing the true green of this color in my photos and I took a BUNCH. This was the best one. It’s such a pretty green, and I feel bright pops of color like this right now!
Cerulean is one of my favorite shades of blue!
Both colors were well-pigmented and opaque in two coats. Check out what I did with them both:
These applied like butter and I have no complaints about formula, bottle, brush or anything!
The one change in the Spring collection is that LVX has changed its bottle. To be honest, the change feels so subtle to me that I didn’t notice it until I went back to the press release to look for all the color descriptions. However, the change, which streamlined the bottle but is kept the original concept/shape, is smaller by 2 ml. It’s now a 15 ml bottle instead of 17 ml. LVX’s spring collection launched on March 1, and is available for $16 a piece. The price has not changed with the bottle change.
What do you think of these polishes?! Have you tried LVX yet?! I’d love to hear your thoughts!
