A couple weeks ago, I told you about Milani Cosmetics’ new Color Statement Lipstick and Lipliner line – I shared swatches of the red and orange shades! Today, I’ve got the pinks and corals.
These lipsticks and liners continue to perform well, and give any department store brand a run for the money. And I am LOVING me some hot pink lipstick right now, so these are right up my alley!
Here’s hand swatches of the two liners:
That’s Haute Pink on the left, All Natural on the right.
Here’s an arm swatch of the lippies:
Left to right: Pink Frost, Fruit Punch, Flamingo Pose, Rose Hip, Hot Pink Rage, Flirty Fuchsia and Rose Amour.
How about some individual swatches?!
Here’s the liners – All Natural:
And here’s the lipstick swatches!
Hot Pink Rage:
All of these lipsticks were well-pigmented. Hot Pink Rage is the lone matte in the group, but it applies creamy. These lipsticks are nice; they apply creamy, and the majority of them stain your lip so that even if the product starts wearing off, you still have color. I felt confident in these bold, bright hues every time I walked out the door.
The only shade I was a bit up in the air about was Pink Frost. It’s literally a pink frost. And that kind of metallic can sometimes look awful on chapped lips and against fair skin, but I thought the color did well for me. Honestly, I think too-light pink lipstick for everyday on women looks awful, but this isn’t that light on me, thankfully!
The lipliners and lipsticks from the Color Statement line will be available at CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart and Kmart, and of course, are available on Milani’s website (link is at the top of the post). The liners retail for $3.99 a piece, and the lipsticks retail for $5.49 a piece.
So what do you think of the pinks and corals?!
