I’m not sure if I’m ready for spring yet. I’m still into all dark and vampy colors, and glittery nail art.
However, I broke into my winter polish routine to wear this spring polish from the new Lise Watier Spring 2013 Pastel Power Collection, because I have never tried the brand’s polish before, and I didn’t just want to swatch it!
Power Punch is a pretty peach with subtle white shimmer. The other color in the new Pastel Power collection is Power Grey. I’m not sure if that shade has shimmer or not, but both colors are definitely in step with the rest of the collection.
First thing I noticed about this polish, after the pretty, spring color, was the bottle. Do you see what I see?
Do you see the light in the cap?!
And the light isn’t the annoying kind, like with some light-up lip glosses, where you go to apply it but the light shines the wrong way, making it no less easy to apply in the dark or dimmed light! this light was well-placed, and useful! Since I did my nails with the living room light on, though, I didn’t need to use it.
How about swatches?!
You can just about make out the shimmer; it makes this polish have a glow instead of a full-on shimmer.
The formula was good, too. This is two coats, with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat. It wore more than 24 hours with no chipping. I wanted to wear it more than two days but I had a lot on my review plate last week and I moved onto a new polish. I’m sorry, Power Punch!!!
Power Punch, and Power Grey, wiht their cap lights, retail for $13 on the Lise Watier website (linked to at the top of the post).
