Merry Christmas, everyone!
If you’ve read my blog in the last week and a half, you know I’ve been a bit tied up – I’m happy to say I’ve got my wedding color scheme, my bridal party (in the process of asking them to be in the wedding) and we’re *this* close to booking a caterer and we’re tentatively penciled in with a hall!!! We’ve even sat down and hammered out a budget and savings plan – and a plan for what we’re going to do in our first year of marriage
Needless to say, I’ve been preoccupied, and I haven’t blogged!
But it’s Christmas and I wanted to thank all of you for your support, comments, (lurking! ) and fellowship throughout the year. When I see a comment come through, it almost feels like Christmas. So thank you for the gift of your support, day in and day out, all year long.
I hope, if you celebrate, that you have a WONDERFUL holiday today with your family.
I decided to do a holiday mani that wasn’t too flashy or even traditional – no trees, Santa suits or holly. I did Christmas sweaters! Base is China Glaze Merry Berry, design from plate NC 03 is stamped in Konad Special Polish in White. I was inspired by Chelsea of The Nail Network, who posted something similar on Instagram earlier this month. It was beautiful and when I saw the plate on sale through Nail Craze on Etzy, I jumped on it. The plate arrived from Israel on Christmas Eve – JUST IN TIME!
Of course I had to throw in a shot with my ring…it’s still so new and I still can’t stop staring at it LOL!
It’s so different, and the pattern showed up SO WELL! Aside from me ruining my index finger design a bit with top coat, I love it. My nails look so neat! I topped it off with Zoya Gilty. Even Mike loved it. My intention was this would be my Christmas Eve mani, but he encouraged me to keep it for Christmas, too.
“Babe, that is awesome! It looks like you’re wearing nail decals or something, it’s so perfectly done!”
Merry Christmas to you and yours, friends!
