It’s great when I am able to get the latest Urban Decay, Tarte or Smashbox palette. I crush hard on their shadows and color combinations. But sometimes, spending between $35 and $60 isn’t feasible.
The last couple months I’ve been experimenting with looks using the NYX Be Free palette, which has 25 eye shadows, seven lip glosses and three blushes – all for an MSRP of $20.
Check it out:
Here’s a close-up of the shadows, which range from matte to shimmer, neutral to playful:

Here are a couple of my favorite looks I’ve done with the palette:
In each of these looks I used the lip glosses, blushes and shadows, along with other products.
The shadows are well-pigmented, and when used over Urban Decay Primer Potion, lasted all day long. The lip glosses lasted on me all morning through regular coffee drinks. The blushes lasted as well.
I love that I can do a neutral look with this palette, or a colorful look. For $20, this is a great bargain and a great piece for travel.
It also comes with a small blush brush, small lip brush and double-ended sponge applicator for the eyes.
This palette is available at the NYX website and Cherry Culture. NYX is also available at Ulta and Urban Outfitters but I couldn’t find it for sale on their sites yet.
So what do you think of this palette? What NYX palette have you tried lately?!
