New Sally Hansen Diamond Strength

I stopped at Walgreens for a box of tissues and quart of fat free milk, and I walked out with three new Sally Hansen Diamond Strength polishes, three new Sally Hansen Lustre Shine polishes and a Sinful Color Black on Black.

Oh, the woes of a polish addict!

Happy to report I also scored a box of Frankenberry, my most favorite cereal ever and HTF any time except around Halloween, as well as my tissues and milk!

I decided the pretty new Diamond Strength colors were sheer and glass-flecked enough to paint over a black base, instead of using them by themselves. I chose Sinful Colors Black on Black.

These new colors have a very duochrome personality about them, and I wanted to bring it out over a black base! Each swatch is one coat of Black on Black, with one coat of the Diamond Strength color.

Blue Frosting:

Blue Frosting is a gorgeous light blue that shimmers purple, blue and green.

Sparkling Rose:

Sparkling Rose is a girly pink that shimmers pink and gold.

Crystal Beading:

Crystal Beading is a white base with purple, blue and green shimmer – it’s so pretty!

I like the Diamon Strength bottles and brushes, and I like these new colors. I didn’t see if these would look nice on their own but I kinda bought them to be top coats, so I also left others behind that might have been more opaque, but they didn’t seem to have the same multi-chromal shimmer.

These polishes were buy two get one half off, $4.79 a piece regular price. Not bad!

What do you think of these polishes? Have you seen these at Walgreens or any other drug stores? Do they pique your interest at all?

These are so pretty over black! Thanks for posting the pics–I may NEED that pink now! Lol :D
Some of the colors in this set remind me of Color Club’s “Take Wing” collection. The teals ARE nearly identical, while Sally Hansen’s Ruby Ring is more red than CC’s pinker/fuchsia-er Wing Fling. I didn’t buy SH’s orange or green shades to be able to compare, but they do seem quite similar. (I’d pick Color Club if I had to choose–the formula is nicer and dries MUCH faster!)
Thank you again for the fantastic pics! :)

ITA with MightyLambchop, Judy. When I saw Blue Frosting at my Walgreens, I thought SH had rebottled the HD’s. You do make them look pretty!

Blue Frosting and Sparkling Rose look like dupes for DVD and LCD from the Sally Hansen HD line. That is a good thing if anyone missed out on those previously!

Yes they do! I meant to mention that in my post but I got distracted because all my photos are missing in action from before I changed to my own domain name! Talk about frustrating! I really need to figure that out. Needless to say, I ended up forgetting to mention it at all – THANK you for bringing this up, girlfriend it’s a great point!!!
