I stopped at Walgreens for a box of tissues and quart of fat free milk, and I walked out with three new Sally Hansen Diamond Strength polishes, three new Sally Hansen Lustre Shine polishes and a Sinful Color Black on Black.
Oh, the woes of a polish addict!
Happy to report I also scored a box of Frankenberry, my most favorite cereal ever and HTF any time except around Halloween, as well as my tissues and milk!
I decided the pretty new Diamond Strength colors were sheer and glass-flecked enough to paint over a black base, instead of using them by themselves. I chose Sinful Colors Black on Black.
These new colors have a very duochrome personality about them, and I wanted to bring it out over a black base! Each swatch is one coat of Black on Black, with one coat of the Diamond Strength color.
Blue Frosting:
Blue Frosting is a gorgeous light blue that shimmers purple, blue and green.
Sparkling Rose:
Sparkling Rose is a girly pink that shimmers pink and gold.
Crystal Beading:
Crystal Beading is a white base with purple, blue and green shimmer – it’s so pretty!
I like the Diamon Strength bottles and brushes, and I like these new colors. I didn’t see if these would look nice on their own but I kinda bought them to be top coats, so I also left others behind that might have been more opaque, but they didn’t seem to have the same multi-chromal shimmer.
These polishes were buy two get one half off, $4.79 a piece regular price. Not bad!
What do you think of these polishes? Have you seen these at Walgreens or any other drug stores? Do they pique your interest at all?
