I’ll be honest. If I’m watching TV, nine times out of 10 I’m tuning in for something craptastic, dramatic or purely entertaining (I confess to watching Lifetime Network while swatching). But every now and then, Mike and I will tune into something that actually gives us an education. This week, we tuned into Shark Week on Discovery Channel.
I’m not sure how I feel about sharks. I mean, sure. They’re fascinating. But would I want to jump in a cage and sink into the ocean and hang out with them? Probably not. So instead, I did a Shark Week mani!
I’ll say upfront, I’m no Picasso. But then, you already know that. It’s all about “A for effort” on BeautyJudy friends!
Yeah. I had the best of intentions with those little tear drop red rhinestones as blood droplets. I forgot to put them with the smaller end up, so it looks like dripping blood. Instead it looks like he’s chomping on a rhinestone, hahaha.
Anyway! Here’s what I used!
- LVX Callais for the blue
- Diamond Cosmetics Matte Smoke for the body of the shark
- LVX Livid for the shark’s eyes
- Nubar Two-Way Nal Art Pen in Basic White
- Tear drop red rhinestones – I can’t remember where I got those!
If they weren’t so “look what my kindegartener drew at school!” they would be scary! So let’s just pretend!
So did you catch any Shark Week?! What do you think of sharks? Scary or lovable?!
Disclaimer: The LVX polishes were recently sent to me for review by the PR Firm/Manufacturer/e-tailer. Review to come soon! The Diamond Cosmetics and Nubar products were sent for review a couple years ago. I’m pretty sure I bought the rhinestones!
