Bliss is one of my favorite spa brands. Back when I traveled frequently for work, I treated myself to a mani at their location in Chicago, and I fell in love with how the spa smelled, it was clean, crisp and slightly citrusy. It smelled…happy! I was even motivated to get a light pink mani that day. *gasp*
Here’s a description that I took from their website:
“From our pretention-free attitude to our upbeat music, colorful design and beloved brownies, we designed our spas to be fun, positive environments that leave you uplifted, glowing and empowered to take on the world. And of course, our products are created with the same goal of adding a little playfulness to your primping.”
My experience at the Bliss Spa has definitely translated into loving their line of products. From their shower gel and massage bar to their hand cream and body butter, I’m a fan. I’ve mostly purchased their products from Sephora, but my new favorite is one of Bliss’ top-sellers on QVC: Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask:
This mask is described as a quick-fix for dull, tired skin, and a “stand-in” for the spa’s signature facial. I spoke with someone from Bliss at a recent press event, who demonstrated that the product delivers oxygen and freshens up your face in five minutes. It’s great, she said, for those days when you come home from work but have to run out for something that evening. Apply it in between day and night and feel rejuvenated for your evening out. I was intrigued!
Before I gave it a shot, I asked if this product is safe for sensitive skin, as I always have to ask, and she reassured me I was good to go. I couldn’t wait to get into the shower!
I pumped out a couple pumps onto my hand:
Then I massaged the product onto my face and immediately it started to foam and fizz. This is my face immediately after I applied it:
Right before I washed it off:
I love the gentle fizzing – it’s like gentle, silent Pop Rocks for your face! If you stand still, close your eyes…it feels like this mask unleashes thousands of bubbles, vaporizing the pollutants and ick of the day off my face, and it is reviving!
When I wash it off, my face is incredibly smooth. Very “baby’s butt”! And I get a mental boost from the unique experience!
The scent is an orangey citrus smell that is pleasant and not overbearing. I usually shy away from citrus scents, but Bliss does citrus scents well. Lemon + Sage is one of my favorites.
Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask is available on QVC for $52 (3.4 oz). You can also get the mask with a Triple Oxygen Energizing Eye Mask for $59.40, or the mask, Triple Oxygen Energizing Eye Mask and Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Cream for $69.75.
Bliss recommends you use this mask for no more than three times a week. I generally use it one to two times a week, and it works out well for my sensitive skin! I have used it a few times and still get excited when it’s time to use it again lol!
