I love nail polish that performs a trick. That’s why I still enjoy crackle, and I continue to love magnetic polish. And also why I couldn’t resist picking up six of Revlon’s scented nail polish new for summer!
These are all more on the sheer side, with what I would describe as a glass-fleck formula. They look a bit icy, and refreshing for hot summer days. I meant to get this post up sooner, when they were more widely available, but time just got away from me! I hope you’ll enjoy the pic spam, nonetheless!
Watermelon Fizz is a juicy red-pink with a pleasant, sweet scent. I used three coats here.
Grapefruit Fizz is a sheer light pink with icy shimmer. I don’t like grapefruit, so I was worried about this scent the most. But it was pleasant and a little tangy but still sweet.
Colada Fizz is a very sheer light blue that just looks like someone shaved frozen snow on my nails and glossed it up! This would make a nice layering polish to create a shimmer where there is a creme! Because on its own, all you see are my stained nails underneath and that’s no good!
Pineapple Fizz is a sheer yellow shimmer – it’s more opaque than Grapefruit Fizz and Colada Fizz. I am not the biggest fan of sheer polish but I do love that chunky shimmer of the glass-fleck in these.
Apple-tini Fizz looks so refreshing in the bottle! It’s a sheer light Granny Smith green.
Grape Fizz is a sheer grape shimmer. This one is a favorite of the six I bought!
I believe there were two others in this release – one was an orange scent. Since I generally don’t like orange-scented things, I decided to leave that one behind. I can’t remember what the other one was, but I want to say it was a mint, and it was a sheer white?
I picked these up at Walgreens about a month, month and a half ago (I miss my long nails!) so I’m not sure about their availability anymore. I’ve seen displays out there, but they aren’t full.
Did you pick any of these up this summer? What’s your favorite?! What do you think about scented nail polish?!
