LA Splash Dolphin’s Smile

I have some great information and polishes to share with you soon!

  • A review of a soon-to-be-launched in the USA brand called Layla Cosmetics (including its Magneffect line)
  • A CosmoProf Sneak Peek at No Miss.
  • Not to mention my CosmoProf conversation with Zoya, and morning with Deborah Lippmann and many other amazing bloggers!
  • Oh, and I have samples of the latest Serena Williams/OPI Glam Slam polishes and OPI Miss Universe Collection to swatch and write about!

But they aren’t things I want to rush! Not that this is rushed, but it’s a bit easier to share one polish than to delve into the above! I write during the day for a living and sometimes, at night, I am tapped out when it comes to the computer.

Regardless, I’m excited to share the polish here today! I picked up Dolphin’s Smile based on the online swatch at Cherry Culture. I thought it was more of a light pink and light tan duochrome, but it turned out to be a really pretty and glowy purple pink with a subtle greenish duochrome to it.

Can you see a hint of the duochrome in this polish? In this pic:

The formula was not too thick and not too thin. The brush is thin and round and easy to maneuver. The color is quite stunning! It looks great on my long nails, but it also looks great on my shorter nails, too!

I would definitely order more LA Splash polishes, I was happy with the formula. I had previously picked up Golden Seahorse and a couple others at Ulta but I haven’t worn them yet… For shame! I don’t remember what they cost there, but I bought Dolphin’s Smile for $3.99 on Cherry Culture (linked to above). They have a lot of pretty LA Splash colors, and treatments.

What do you think of Dolphin’s Smile? Do you own any LA Splash polish?

That LA Splash polish is really pretty. Just a light duochrome but still a lovely shade. Your nails are looking so good.

Thanks – but this was a couple months ago. They are growing again, I’m so proud of how well they’ve been lately 🙂

I’m really happy that an italian brand is finally available in USA! I like their polishes (expecially Ceramic Effect collection) and I’m really curious about the magnetic collection (I haven’t tried it yet, it’s not available in my city and I have to wait for my next visit to Milan!).
BTW, nice polish in your pictures! 🙂

Me too! They are so nice, too! I enjoyed meeting them! Their Ceramic Effect polish is nice, I have one of those to review too! The magnetic collection is awesome. I will be posting my review soon, I’ve been waiting for the press release information about where they’re being sold.
