China Glaze Vintage Vixen Fall 2010: Cat’s Meow

Yesterday I reviewed and swatched the Hotsy Totsy six-pack of the 12-piece China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection for fall, and today I’ve got the Cat’s Meow six-pack for ya!

Goin’ My Way?:

Goin’ My Way is described as a “deep copper shimmer.” This has a nice glow to it!

Riveter Rouge:

Riveter Rouge is described as a “deep red shimmer.” It’s so much more than that, though! It’s got golden micro glitter. It’s nice, but to me the boring polish in the collection.

Classic Camel:

Classic Camel is described as a “khaki creme with gold micro glitter.” This color is surprisingly well-suited for me, I thought it might be a bit too sallow. But it’s one of my favorites. Only issue I had was in formula. For some reason, this polish was a bit goopier than the others and application was a bit tough.

Emerald Fitzgerald:

Emerald Fitzgerald is described as a “turquoise shimmer.” I struggle with whether this is dupable. What do you think? But it is a gorgeous shimmer, nonetheless!

Midnight Mission:

Midnight Mission is described as a “navy blue shimmer with silver micro glitter.” Boy, is it LOADED with that micro glitter. Click on the in-the-shade photo and check it out! This is one of my favorites from the collection!

First Class Ticket:

First Class Ticket is described as a “deep purple shimmer” but the shimmer is BLUE! This is probably my absolute favorite from the collection. I included that last photo with flash on to show you the purple/blue – but I don’t think my photos do this color justice. It’s gorgeous!

    I was so excited for these when I first saw them, but now I’m kind of meh :( BTW, Emerald Fitzgerald, at least in these pics, looks like a CHI I got yesterday on clearance at Ulta, Romance Under the Blue Moon.

      Interesting! I’ll have to check and see if I have that Ulta polish and do a comp if I can.

    I can’t wait to get my order! First Class Ticket is really gorgeous. Love all of the polishes. Classic Camel is just a strange shade. I don’t know if I like it. Hope it looks decent on me.

      It’s my favorite, I think, Lucy! I rather like Classic Camel. I’m fair but I think it looks good!
